All anonymous tips should be reported using the Albany Area Crime Stoppers.
The Albany Area Crime Stoppers supports Dougherty, Lee, and surrounding counties. The program rewards anonymous callers for information leading to the arrest and conviction. Tips are provided through the Crime Stoppers Hotline number are provided through the Crime Stoppers Hotline number and are process via the proper Law Enforcement agency.
Crime Stoppers is a non-profit organization (501C#) and is affiliated with Crime Stoppers USA and Crime Stoppers International.

You could be eligible for a reward!
Callers who provide information are given an identification number. Their tip is provided to the investigating officer for review. The police department and the Crime Stoppers board of Directors evaluate the information given and decide the amount of money the caller may receive based on the value of the information to the Public's safety. The caller then calls Crime Stoppers again with their ID number and they will b e told how to claim their reward at a local bank. This procedure allows the caller to remain anonymous throughout the entire process.
