HCV

AHA has more than (number of vouchers) Section 8 vouchers, also known as Housing Choice Vouchers (HCV). Families in the HCV program have the choice and responsibility to select their housing location within AHA's jurisdiction and with a landlord that is willing to accept vouchers. HCV participants pay between 30-40 percent of their monthly household income toward rent. The voucher covers the rest of the rent and sends the payment directly to the landlord.
