Waitlist Information

Currently, the Housing Choice Voucher waitlist is closed.

Limited federal funding for vouchers restricts how many families AHA can serve. AHA randomly selected over 100 pre-applications through a lottery to be placed on the waitlist. If you applied during this period, you might find out whether you were chosen in the random lottery by calling our office at 229-434-4505.

You will need either your Social Security Number or your confirmation number, as well as your date of birth.

If you have been selected for placement on the HCV waitlist, and you need to make changes to your application, you may call our office.

If you were not selected in the random lottery, you might apply for several AHA public housing and Project-Based Rental Assistance properties when they become available.
